Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes secure ‘remarkable’ $1.9 billion water rights settlement.

ANOTHER REASON TO DUMP TESTER: Daines and Tester worked together on this gift to the CSKT, and Daines is also not a friend of non-tribal Montana citizens.  We also need to watch Sheehy closely if he successfully beats Tester.  Remember that Sheehy was hand-picked and shoved down our throats by Daines et al: they have plans for him.  Matt Rosendale was good for Montana and the country: he was forced out of running for the Senate by the cabal that decided Sheehy would have the backing of the Montana Republican Party.  Do you think that they believe they will be better able to control Sheehy? I would bet my last dollar on that.

Listen … The Silence is Deafening

It was May 30 when the Jury announced their verdict against former President and Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump. Guilty on all charges. Finally, the communist Democrats can call their nemesis a convicted felon.

Of course, the verdict comes after the first show trial in New York, where he was found guilty in a trial with no Plaintiff, no victim, and no loss but was ordered to pay a bond of half a billion dollars or face the State of New York seizing his assets.

Then there is the tampering with an election charges in Georgia that are currently delayed. And we can’t forget the now confirmed bogus Russian collusion fiasco and the set up of General Michael Flynn and Roger Stone and a laundry list of others maliciously prosecuted on phony charges.

Then there was the unprecedented false flag raid on Trump’s Mar a Lago estate, where O’Biden authorized the use of deadly force. False flag, you say? Yes. You see, the commies had discovered that the Imposter in Chief had classified documents in his garage, and his nemesis had to be blamed as a distraction.

If all the wrongs and violations of every principle America stands for were a forest fire, it would be burning bright from sea to shining sea. Like him or not, Donald J. Trump has been vilified to the degree that evil is the only word that can describe what is taking place in our once-great Republic.

With fires burning coast to coast and a former Republican President trapped in the blaze, there must be help on the way? Listen? Surely they’re coming? The fire is consuming everything Republicans claim to stand for? Listen? What do you hear?

Listen … their silence is deafening. With a champion of American values going up in flames, where are the Republicans outraged? With the White House being run by former President Barry Soetoro, aka Barack Obama, ignoring our Supreme Court of the United States decision that discarding student debt is not Constitutional … where is the outrage from our Republican leaders coast to coast … silence.

Here in Montana, we have Senator Daines, who is … silent. Representative Zinke … silent. Representative Rosendale, well, he stood up and fought for right just like he said he would. And who stepped up against him? Republican House Speaker Mitch McConnell, Governor Greg Gianforte, Representative Zinke, and Senator Daines. They were silent then, no, the Montana Mafia took him out to make room for a new shill and an old one.

Listen … their silence is deafening. There’s no one shouting we have an imposter in the White House. There’s no one crying from the halls of Congress in outrage that the attacks on Trump are modern-day Stalin Show trials. There’s no shouting about the lawlessness growing across the nation, the mental illness being perpetrated on our nation driven by the Alphabet people. Nothing.

Listen …  their silence confirms they are no better than them, the communists who’ve taken over our nation. It’s time for the theater we call Congress and all the Actors we’ve elected to face the music. But our only chance is …

Listen … our noise, our voice, our shouts and cries, and actions pierce the deafening silence of those who claim to lead us … our state and national Republican parties. Judge them by their actions, not their empty words.

A State of the Union

I think that the majority of people in the US have had some experience with people suffering from dementia. It has many forms, some very personal and others at a distance.  Many of us, unfortunately, are quite familiar with the behavioral characteristics of people suffering from this terrible affliction: clenched fists, unsteady gait, sometimes incoherent speech, volatility, short-term memory loss, vacant stare, and so on.

How can Biden supporters deny what is before their very eyes?  It’s like seeing a child with chicken pox and saying, “It’s just mosquito bites!”  Those of us who have known someone suffering from dementia know full well that there can be good days and bad days, and there is no predicting what happens tomorrow.  If you don’t think that our President wasn’t juiced up on some drug cocktail to keep him upright for over an hour and focused to some degree on his task, then you are sadly mistaken.

Some of us also have experience with people who lie without considering it.  I’m not necessarily talking about pathological liars, I’m talking about people who lie about everything, frequently to benefit themselves by boasting to the extreme or to twist facts to reflect upon themselves favorably. People to whom lying is just second nature.  Joe Biden has been described as a liar for decades by people on both sides of the aisle.

I don’t believe for a moment that Joe Biden made any substantive contributions to constructing his SOTU address.  His contribution was only to spew forth the many lies about the ‘accomplishments’ of his administration without hesitation; to repeat the lies with a hubris that would have been astounding if coming from an individual who had any conscience at all, but instead coming from a man who is not just comfortable with lying but is a master at it, who makes it seem effortless.

His lies about the US economy were particularly egregious, but the party line.  They are not counting on the average U.S. citizen to believe his eyes and pocketbook rather than their lies.  I pray that they are underestimating us!

The bombastic and highly divisive nature of the speech fit Biden’s personality well. He has always been like that. He didn’t have to work at presenting a measured, unifying speech, which would have been a hard task even for a full compos mentis Biden. One wonders if his words, after briefly acknowledging the tragic murder of Laken Riley, were written for him or if he extemporaneously added, “Having lost children myself, I understand.”  He can’t miss an opportunity to make it about himself.

We are in a sad, dangerous state right now.  There is a reason we have the name Last Chance Patriots.  This is crucial for all Americans to become Patriots, pull the United States back to her foundational principles, and stay the course!

As 2022 Continues to Unravel – We Need God

The mid-term election is upon us and what a pivotal year it is. We, the American people have experienced in just one year, the decline of our Great Country!  We endure the stolen election which put Biden’s marxist regime, Muslims,  Socialists, and Communists to the White House. Our nation is teetering on the brink.

Our first President was right when he said, “I now make it my earnest prayer, that God would…most graciously be pleased to dispose us all, to do Justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that Charity, humility and pacific temper of mind, which were the Characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed Religion, and without an humble imitation of whose example in these things, we can never hope to be a happy Nation.” – President George Washington (1783)

As ‘The Global Reset’ continues to march forward taking our God-given rights and freedom, day by day, we ask for both your prayers, your willingness to take a stand for freedom, and your action as a volunteer.

The Untold Story of the Anchor Baby Issue

By LCP Guests: Gary and Joan Carlson

Question: What is the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution and what does it mean?

Answer: The Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was adopted on July 9, 1868, as one of the Reconstruction Amendments. The amendment addresses citizenship rights and equal protection of the laws. It was proposed in response to issues related to former slaves following the American Civil War.

Explanation: The 14th Amendment was primarily concerned with details of reintegrating the southern states after the Civil War and defining some of the rights of recently freed slaves. The first section of the amendment, however, was to revolutionize federalism. It stated that no state could “deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of the law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the law.” Gradually, the Supreme Court interpreted the amendment to mean that the guarantee of the Bill of Rights applies to the states, as well as, to the national government.

Conclusion: Therefore, the 14th Amendment does not need to be amended or revised – It just needs to be enforced in accordance with its original intent.

When one considers the statements above, discussing today’s illegal immigration crisis, the current caravans coming to the United States on the Southern Border, and the question of citizenship for “Anchor Babies”, the total story of immigration is often overlooked.

How many “legal immigrants” have come annually, what was the process these immigrants had to go through, and what do those framers of the 14th
Amendment say about so-called “Anchor Babies”?

The immigration issue is a personal story for me because my dad was a 13-year-old legal immigrant from Sweden in 1913. After his family arrived in the United States, even though still a boy, my dad was “farmed out” to help pay for his family’s expenses. Everyone had to work because the family did not receive any federal or state assistance.

As an adult, my dad flew the American flag every day with a Swedish flag beneath it. When he was in his late 80’s, he and my mother (whose family members were legal immigrants from Denmark) visited Sweden and the town where he lived as a boy. Because he still spoke Swedish, my dad was given the “keys to the city” by the local mayor during a small ceremony. It was even written up in the local Swedish newspaper.

Interesting Facts and Numbers: Unfortunately, you never see or hear about the following in the news:

  • In 1900 over 10 million immigrants came legally to America. Over 500,000 were from Sweden and 150,000 were from Denmark (My mother’s parents).
  • In 1910, over 13 million immigrants came legally with 660,000 from Sweden and 180,000 from Denmark.
  • In 1920 nearly 14 million immigrants came with 620,000 from Sweden and 180,000 plus from Denmark.
  • The majority of these immigrants had to go through processing at Ellis Island NY, or Boston, MA. Many were turned away and had to return to their home country for some of the following reasons:

1. No sponsors in America

2. Contagious illnesses

3. Criminal records

Regarding the personal story of my dad, it took his mom and sisters five years to go through the process. Finally, they were able to leave Sweden and board the ship that would take them to America. After several weeks crossing the Atlantic Ocean, they arrived in Boston. From there they traveled overland to South Dakota, then headed north to Minnesota where they were finally reunited with his dad and older brother.

Current figures regarding legal immigrants show that in 2015 the US took in 1.38 million legal immigrants and 1.49 million in 2016. In the same two year period, these statistics represent a larger number of legal immigrants allowed in the United States than those allowed in all other countries combined.

The peak of European immigration to the United States was in 1907 when 1,285,349 people entered the country. By 1910 13.5 million immigrants were living in the US. In 1921 Congress passed the Emergency Quota Act followed by the Immigration Act of 1924. Between 1880 and 1930, 27 million people entered the United States. Twelve million people entered via Ellis Island. Boston was another entry city and on the WestCoast, the immigration station was on Angel Island in San Francisco Bay. For the Japanese, the Angel Island Station would be as close as many Japanese would ever get to make America their home.

The day after the attack on Pearl Harbor, President Franklin Roosevelt suspended naturalization proceedings for Italian, German, and Japanese immigrants. FDR also required them to register. These immigrants were restricted in mobility and prohibited to have items they could use for sabotage. Of the over 600,000 Italian aliens living in the United States, 1600 who were citizens were interned.

In 1940 there were 264,000 German aliens in the United States. During WWII 10,905 Germans and German-Americans, as well as, Czechs, Hungarians, and Romanians were placed in internment camps.

After WWII, President Truman signed the Displaced Person’s Act of 1948, which offered thousands entry into the United States. However, millions of refugees from the war were still left to seek refuge elsewhere. President Truman’s quote after the war was, “I urge Congress to turn its attention to this world problem in an effort to find ways where we can fulfill our responsibilities to these thousands of homeless and refugees of all faiths.”

Naturally, World Wars I and II, plus the Great Depression, played a large part in the history of immigration to the United States.  Between 1956 and 1957 38,000 Hungarian refugees from a failed uprising against the Soviet Union were allowed to immigrate to America.

But in 1965, President Lyndon Johnson signed the Hart-Cellar Act into law. The act ushered in far-reaching changes that continue to undergird the current immigration system and set in motion powerful demographic forces that are still shaping the United States today and will in the decades ahead. The law literally changed the face of America. It ended an immigration-admissions policy based on race and ethnicity and gave rise to large-scale immigration, both legal and unauthorized.

Prior to its signing, the majority of immigrants came to the United States from European countries. This act ended the quota system for entry into the US. Today’s legal immigration numbers still rank the US as number 1 of all other nations of the world in opening its doors to legal immigrants.

The 14th Amendment Explained by the Author: Interpreting the 14th Amendment correctly on the ‘Anchor Baby’ Issue is the key to solving the anchor baby question.

In 1868 the framer of the 14th Amendment, Senator Jacob Howard (R-MI), explained regarding citizenship at birth, “…the clause in the Amendment is simply declarative of what I regard as the law of the land already, ” adding, “This will not, of course, include persons born in the US who are foreigners, aliens, or who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers.”

And what was “the Law of the Land” already? The Civil Rights Act of 1866, “guaranteed citizenship to all persons born in the United States, and not subject to any foreign power, excluding Indians not taxed.” That automatic birthright clearly would exclude the children of foreign nations.

(Ref: Library of Law and Liberty’s Mark Pulliam, the 14th Amendment was not intended to include Native Americans who did not owe allegiance to the United States and that; the 14th Amendment does not automatically confer citizenship by default to those born in the US if their parents are not citizens. Later, in the U.S. vs Wong Kim Ark (1898), the Supreme Court found that the child of legal immigrants was also guaranteed citizenship.)

Considering the national news today filled with stories of caravans approaching the US Southern Border and the President weighing in on the “Anchor Baby issue”, common sense should help us to draw the following conclusions:

  • We know there are numbers of legal immigrants wanting to become U.S. citizens.
  • The intention of the framers of the 14th Amendment is now and has always been an immigrant-friendly nation.
  • After the two World Wars, the United States rose up to help refugees from many countries.
  • While our President is correct to reconsider changing the 14th Amendment, he does not need to revise, or have it amended. Yes, Congress can take action to clarify the meaning of the 14th Amendment, but it does not need to be altered.
  • The 14th Amendment just needs to be interpreted correctly as it was originally intended to be.
  • The Supreme Court could certainly address its meaning, but the 14th Amendment was never intended to provide automatic birthright citizenship to all babies born in the United States. Non-citizens and “illegals” were not included.

Finally and most importantly, the majority of those who came to America legally in the past came as do those who come legally today – they want to be Americans! They love America as did my dad. Yes, it took five long years for him to join his family and begin a new life in the United States. Nothing was handed to him on a silver platter. He had to work hard to obtain his “American Dream.”

Because of that sacrifice, he understood the value and importance of being an American citizen. And anything obtained too cheaply (illegally) diminishes its value. In memory of my dad and for all those who, like him, came here to be Americans, let us never devalue the worth of American citizenship by carelessly and irresponsibly giving it away.

Mid-Terms 2022: America’s Future in Full View

The Wall Street Journal reported that in the recent mid-term elections 64% of young Americans under the age of 24 voted for left-wing socialist candidates. Stir that in with the election of Democratic Socialists, Islamic candidates who openly do not support our Constitution and the near misses in Florida, Texas, and Georgia. Let that view of America sink in as you think it can’t happen here. It already has. Are you surprised?

You shouldn’t be. Take a look at what’s taking place on America’s college campuses. In Mississippi’s Delta State University they’ve instituted a policy that a student can be expelled for causing ‘emotional distress’ to another student. At Cal State-Long Beach the college President supported a conservative speaker, noting in an email to students that it was essential to the First Amendment only to have protests by the Black Student Union, LaRaza Student Association, Queers and Allies, and the Young Democratic Socialists of America who caused quite a stir.

Staying in California, on the campus of Clairmont McKenna College they hosted a porn actress to teach student classes on BDSM which is stands for bondage, domination, submission, and masochism. It proved to be popular enough to host on their sister campuses of Pomona, Harvey Mudd, Scripps and Pitzer colleges. We begin to see what is essential in higher education.

Colorado State University is zeroed in on students being ‘inclusive.’ Zahra Al-Saloom, the director of Diversity and Inclusion, is making it clear. CSU has deemed the phrase ‘long time no see’ offensive to Asians. Al-Saloom also finds fault with the popular term ‘you guys,’ it’s not inclusive of all genders. CSU recommends ‘y’all.’ At CSU Freshman are no longer that, they are ‘first-year.’ You see ‘Freshman” is not inclusive of all genders. CSU doesn’t have ‘dorms’ anymore. They have ‘residence halls.’ Students only sleep in a dorm, wherein a residence hall students sleep, eat, study and participate in social activities. Your tuition dollars at work.

Moving to the midwest at Marquette University, the counseling center is making sure students have a place to find support in the wake of the midterm election results — complete with ‘stress-busting activities’ and ‘a gratitude board.’ On to Ohio and the Franciscan University of Steubenville, a Catholic school, a black student found a short racist note taped to the door of his dorm, er, residence hall. In response, the school President announced a 16 point plan to address the issue that includes campus-wide anti-bias training, anti-racist pedagogy and curriculum development, and recruiting and retaining diverse faculty and staff.

In New York, we have the highly touted Cornell University. The Ivy League school’s College of Arts and Sciences just approved new graduation requirements that will force students to take classes dubbed ‘social difference.’ Your student will not get the benefit of taking such classes as race, ethnicity, nativity status, religion, gender, sexuality, or ability as an object of study. The new requirement will also let sign-language courses qualify for the language requirement. Other new categories in the 10-category division include statistics and data science, and global citizenship. See where America’s young are headed?

At the University of Michigan, a student was forced to attend a lecture where Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu was compared to Hitler. North Shore Community College hosted a white privilege symposium that featured ‘racial justice’ a board game. A Trump impeachment class is offered again at San Diego State University. In Georgia, a Professor at Clayton State University offered students extra credit if they would attend a campaign event for Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. The list of madness on campus is endless.

In case you think this indoctrination isn’t happening where your child goes to school, think again. Unless they attend Hillsdale College in Michigan, they are being schooled by the Left. It is time parents vote with their dollars and quit pretending its just a trend. It’s a planned act of aggression that is showing results. And those results do not speak to a future for the United States of America.

We can’t even say the ‘handwriting is on the wall’ anymore. Schools don’t teach handwriting anymore.
